Origins of Inspiration

From 2009-2012 I taught English at a public school in a bucolic, little Washi no Sato, or paper village, in Echizen, Japan.  It was there my love of paper and origami originated.

After school I often visited the art club. The students would try to teach me how to fold a basic tsuru (crane). At the time I was not very good at paper folding and I never successfully recreate this simple fold!
